I am a current member but cannot login. What should I do?

If you know your member name and/or email address that is on file with IFASA, but can't remember or don't know your password:

 Simply go to the User Login "box" on the homepage (upper right column) and click on "Request New Password". This will in turn take you here, in which case you must either know the original email address you gave to IFASA or know your USERNAME (member name). 

What to do if you know you are a valid member, but not sure about the user or member name:

When the data base was initially loaded, the system basically took the initial of your first name (caps) and your last name with first letter capitalized and hence created the user or member login name. Hence if you are Joe Schmoe, the username became JSchmoe. You can verify this by doing a simple search. To do so, simply click on the Search button at the top left column - but leave it blank for now. In other words, you are doing a blank search. This will take you to the actual choice search page. Here you will find two buttons named Content and Users. Simply enter your last name only, then click on Search again. In most cases this will result in giving you your actual user name. If there are no results while doing this search, your username is not conventional. This could be and please don't panic. The reason for this could be:

1. You signed up via Paypal and created your own unique username, in which case you need to remember what it is.
2. You username was created at the onset of this site and added manually. (Only about 5 of the members were added this way.)
3. You contacted the admin and asked to have your data manipulated (highly unlikely as the admin typicall won't do this under any circumstances)
4. You were not in the initial database or known to be a valid member. This is a possibility as we all know.
